2005-2006 News
Troop 306 in the news! See Scouts practice citizenship - from local to global in the December 8 Arlington Advocate.
Scouting for Food! Troop 306 collected food throughout Arlington to benefit the Arlington Food Pantry, then helped sort and organize the food. This is part of our commitment to Citizenship in the Community.

In early November, we raised $211.83 to donate to UNICEF to support earthquake relief efforts in South Asia. Thank you to all those who gave generously, to the scouts who helped organize this effort, and the adults who helped with bottles and cans. Through this project, we have learned a little more about Citizenship in the World.
2005 Town Night, September 23
Town Night/Day we raised over $1000 for the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief! Thank you, Arlington!
Troop 306 was at Hornblower Field (across from the Boys and Girls Club at 60 Pond Lane) on Friday evening, September 23. As part of the Town Day festivities, we sold snacks, candy, soda and glow necklaces for folks picnicking at the field before the evening fireworks. All profits from this sale (over $1000!) went to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief. This is part of our commitment to Citizenship in the Nation.
2005 September Camping and Rafting trip
We spent the weekend of September 10 camping in Otter River State Forest in Templeton, Massachusetts, and had a wild day of whitewater rafting on the Deerfield River. More pictures here!
